About AWS
The purpose of AWS is "to foster a spirit of cooperation, exchange of ideas and mutual helpfulness among members; to provide an atmosphere in which individual members can further develop their art, and provide stimulating programs such as work sessions, instruction, demonstrations, critiques, art exhibits and special events." AWS hosts the members-only Apple Blossom Art Show every April in Sebastopol, and has a big presence in the town wide Gravenstein Fair in August.
Members may also show their work in local venues, such as banks, restaurants, and other community centers.
