ART WORKSHOP OF WESTERN SONOMA COUNTY 

Welcome to AWS, Art Workshop of Western Sonoma County, California! We are an organization of artists with regular membership of between 80 to 120 members, founded in 1965 by six painters residing in the area.

 

We are oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel artists, along with photographers and mixed media artists, sculptors, and jewelry-makers who work in a wide variety of styles. Although we are primarily from Western Sonoma County, we have members from all parts of the county and beyond.

 

We range from beginners to professionals -- a fun group of artists that enjoys exchanging ideas and tips with other artists and "talking art."

 

In addition to our MONTHLY MEETINGS, we participate in two major local EVENTS. AWS artists may also exhibit their work in several Sebastopol VENUES.
